Kyle T. Osborn was born and raised in Pearland, Texas. Mr. Osborn graduated first in his class, summa cum laude, with a degree in psychology and minor in philosophy from Texas A&M University. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Osborn conducted research on jury decision making and personality assessments for the Department of Psychology at Texas A&M University. After college, he worked as an administrative assistant for Rusty Hardin & Associates, L.L.P. As a law student, he competed in the Hutcheson Moot Court Competition and was a member of the mock trial team. In addition, he was a staff editor for the TEXAS JOURNAL ON CIVIL LIBERTIES AND CIVIL RIGHTS.
Mr. Osborn began working at CANTILO & BENNETT, L.L.P. as a law clerk during his second year of law school. Upon graduating, he accepted a position as an Associate and has worked on receiverships and rehabilitations in multiple states. Mr. Osborn continues to represent insurance departments and receivership estates in matters related to insurance insolvency and rehabilitation.

Capson Physicians Insurance Company (TX, February 2019 to Present)
C&B was designated by the Insurance Commissioner for the state of Texas as Special Deputy Receiver of Capson Physicians Insurance Company (“Capson”), a medical malpractice insurer, in February of 2019. Mr. Osborn serves as an associate responsible for the operation of Capson, assisting with the day-to-day management and administration of the company’s affairs.
Access Insurance Company (March 2018 to present)
C&B was appointed to serve as SDR of Access Insurance Company (“AIC”) in March 2018, when it was placed in receivership for liquidation by the Texas Department of Insurance. Mr. Osborn serves as an associate responsible for the operation of AIC, assisting with the day-to-day management and administration of the company’s affairs.
